Gunny's Command Lineage and Ethos 

My forefathers immigrated here from a small village in Switzerland near the German border before WW1. We haled from the mountain woods and have always loved the land that we have owned and or resided in We are raised woodsmen and scouts brought up in service of others and our country. We with hearty hunting dogs at our side and a strong sense of patriotism have served in WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan. After 21 years of Active duty Service in the Marine Corps four combat tours 38 country deployments and 8 years in continued federal service, We now offer our service and generations of experience to you.


A lifetime of hunting, fishing and military service with dozens of breeds of hunting and working four-legged companions by our side has led Gunny’s to the most versatile and loving companion we have ever known. Whether you are hunting upland birds, waterfowl, blood tracking, working in service of our country or just out hunting sheds there is no finer companion or better working dog in the field or at home than the Pudelpointer.


We at Gunny’s operate on the core principles of honor, courage, commitment, honesty, integrity, loyalty service to others as well as service to our country.

At Gunny's German Pudelpointers, LLC, we consider all our clients part of our extended family. The Gunny's Family Wall of Honor is a special place where we celebrate our hunting dog puppies' success stories and achievements and their new families. We encourage our clients to share their hunting triumphs, heartwarming tales, and photographs of their four-legged companions. The wall is a testament to our dogs and their owners' dedication and hard work, showcasing the strong bond and teamwork built through hunting.

We donate 50% of meat to needy families after they hunt with the dogs.

What Sets Us Apart

We are different from top to bottom from our counter parts. We here at Gunny’s do not live on the revenue from our furry hunting companions. Our pups pay for their food, training, vet bills and the donations we make on their behalf.
We donate out of each litter to our veterans both past and present along with first responders, police and fire department personnel free of charge. 
We are with you as much as you wish for the life of your family hunting companion, we want to hunt with you and you with us, we want to swap training techniques and share stories of adventures past and upcoming adventures. When you choose us, we become family.
We work with you to deliver your companion to you or near you at your direction.

OUR LITTERS

At Gunny's German Pudelpointers, LLC, we specialize in breeding exceptional hunting dogs that are skilled in the field and make excellent companions. Our dogs can track scents and blood and are experts in shed hunting too. They are all with three coat phases. Our breeding program is carefully designed to produce puppies with strong hunting instincts, intelligence, and a strong desire to please their owners. We work with top-notch hunting dog bloodlines to ensure our litters inherit their parents' best qualities. Each litter is raised in a loving and stimulating environment, preparing them for a life of adventure and loyalty with their new hunting partners.

Why Hire Us?

We have strong values as a company and are aware of the social responsibility that rests on us. We donate 50% of meat to needy homes after having hunted. We also donate 50% of profits to Wounded Warriors. Being aware of our social responsibility, we take wounded veterans with us for hunting. When you get a puppy from us, you do not need to sign any contracts with us. We rehome dogs for free if the owner cannot take good care of them. We help you get a dog in 2 to 4 days and deliver to airports in all major cities.

We decided that a Pudelpointer was the best dog for Buckhorn Camps. When Gunny had a liter we contacted him for a puppy. I have to say that Caleb was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. When it came time to get the Puppy from Wyoming to Maine Caleb had the puppy ready so all we had to do was get on the plane. All paperwork was in a folder and very organized.
